Cast A: 2:00pm
Cast B: 6:30pm
REHEARSALS
Choreography is learned within the student’s class times, but some additional Saturday rehearsals are required to bring the students together to finalize their choreography and staging.
Please refer to your contracts, which are also linked below. Each Ballet level and Tap have certain rehearsals. Please note that some of our Upper Ballet levels may have some modifications to this schedule due to what roles they are cast in, and how choreography goes from week to week, so always check emails and notices for any time changes.
We are excited to present our production of “Cinderella” as our Spring performance! Your student will not want to miss out on the opportunity to perform with their class, while showing off what they have learned throughout the year.
The Spring performance is a very important time for our students as they’re able to exhibit onstage the progress they’ve made throughout the year. We know that they have worked very hard and we are so proud to be able to allow them the opportunity to perform. We take very seriously our responsibility to prepare them well, so that they are confident in their steps onstage. We appreciate your cooperation in encouraging your students to participate and enabling them to feel their best for the performance by getting them to classes and rehearsals prepared to do their best.
CASTING
Cinderella will be on Saturday, May 30, 2026 @ 2:00pm & 6:30pm. Casting will be determined by February 15th. Our Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet Students will only be in 1 show, either the 2:00pm or the 6:30pm performance. We cannot always honor requests for your child to perform in a certain cast as it is quite an involved process. While priority is given to siblings performing in the same shows, due to the number of students participating, we cannot guarantee that your children will be in the same cast.
ADDITIONAL REHEARSALS
Additional Saturday rehearsals for Cinderella are MANDATORY. This means that your child may NOT miss Saturday rehearsals if they wish to perform. Dress rehearsal and Tech Rehearsal are our other additional and mandatory rehearsals but do check your student’s contract as some of our younger students do not need to attend some of the rehearsals. Students who miss Dress Rehearsal will not be permitted to perform!
If you have any questions regarding a known Saturday absence, please email the office at classes@radianceballet.com for approval before January 31st.
Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet students will have time “blocks” that they will be required to attend. We make every effort to keep our younger students for only as long as is necessary and appreciate your compliance with getting them to their rehearsals on time. It is best to keep the full time-frames listed free from other commitments until the full rehearsal schedule is released.
***PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE ADDITIONAL SATURDAY REHEARSALS AND DRESS REHEARSAL DATES AND TIMES. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO MAKE THESE REHEARSALS, PLEASE LET US KNOW THAT YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO PERFORM. YOU WILL NOT BE EXCUSED ONCE YOU’VE COMMITTED TO PARTICIPATE.
FEES
Please refer to your student’s contract with the participation fee.
Your Spring performance fee covers your child’s participation fee, extra rehearsals, theater rentals and their costume rental. Our costumes are on a “rental” system due to the inflation of costume prices. In order to avoid a continued increase in participation cost, we have begun recycling the costumes for our students throughout the years.
VOLUNTEERING
We do appreciate and need help from you, parents/family! We are presenting an incentive for your volunteering. If you volunteer for 1 area of need, you will receive a $15 discount on your participation fee, and if you volunteer for 2 areas of need, you will receive a $30 discount on your participation fee. The maximum discount is $30/student, though you are welcome and encouraged to volunteer more than 2 times. If you have multiple students, you may volunteer more than twice and “earn” up to $30/student.
We have many areas of need, and will be posting a sign-up sheet so that you may sign up through jackrabbit. Once the volunteering area has been fulfilled, we will credit your account the appropriate amount.
AUTO ENROLLMENT
With an understanding that most of our students do choose to participate in the Spring show, and in an effort to streamline the sign-up process, every student is automatically signed up to participate in the Spring performance. Your recital fee will be charged to your card on file on February 1, 2026.
WINTER PERFORMANCE PARTICIPATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
In the event that you must withdraw from the Spring performance after 1/31, you will NOT receive a refund in whole or in part.
WITHDRAWING FROM WINTER PERFORMANCE
If you decide that your student will not be participating in the Spring performance, you must let the office know by email (classes@radianceballet.com) by January 31, 2026. Failure to decline participation before January 31st will result in your card being charged for your participation fee. If no communication is received, Radiance will understand that you are giving authorization to charge your participation fee to your card on file.
For those students involved in both our tap & ballet program, participation in all classes (Ballet & Tap) is highly recommended. Should your student wish to participate only in certain classes that they attend, this must also be communicated to the office by 1/31/26. Failure to do so will result in them being included in all of their class dances.
REHEARSAL CONTRACTS
A signed rehearsal contract (opposite side) must be returned to the office by 1/31/26 in order to participate in the Spring performance. This contract lists all of your student’s mandatory rehearsals and serves to ensure there is an understanding by parents that their child MUST attend all listed rehearsals of that class. By signing the Rehearsal Contract, you are stating that you have read and understand all of the above information and agree to make sure your child attends all mandatory Saturday rehearsals and Dress rehearsal as listed for their class level. Any known conflicts MUST be approved by the office BEFORE signing rehearsal contracts. Should a student be in violation of their rehearsal contract, Radiance reserves the right to withdraw them from their recital dance.
TICKETS
Tickets will go on sale April 1, 2026. Tickets range from $24.75-$35.75/seat. Wheelchair accessible seating is available. You will be able to purchase your tickets through TutuTix ticketing platform through the link found on our website.
